Glen Eira receives new grandstand seating
Terrain received a request to quote for two new grandstands for the Duncan Mckinnon Reserve sporting area in the City of Glen Eira, in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne. The reserve is a community recreation area comprised of an athletics track, soccer pitch, cricket and football field and a bank of netball courts, which were the site for the two new grandstands.
Terrain supplied, delivered and installed two 6m long, 3 tier grandstands, with powder coated frames and clear anodised aluminium planking on top. Shipped complete to site and then crane lifted into place, the aim was to minimise disruption to local sporting groups and other personal training business who used the facilities. Because the grandstands were assembled prior to delivery, installation by Terrain’s experienced installers literally took a matter of hours and the site was ready for use that afternoon.
Because of the tough anodised aluminium construction, this seating is built to last, offering a long term solution that wont just remain structural for years to come, but will stay looking great too! The new grandstands provide extra seating for the heavily used netball courts, adding to the great facilities already in place at the Duncan Mckinnon Reserve.
