Minkarra Dog Park, established in 2013, was originally constructed as a single park for all-size dogs. However over time community feedback and requests were put forward proposing a dog park to be constructed for smaller, timid dogs. As a result, Erin Thompson MP for Davenport listened and responded by allocating funding towards the construction of an additional park designated for small dogs only.
Located adjacent to an existing dog park for all size dogs, Minkarra Small Dog Park is designed to provide a quieter space for smaller dogs to enjoy their time off the lead, without the fuss of larger dogs and nearby skaters.
Terrain Group was pleased to be able to assist RDB Earthmoving with the supply, delivery, and installation of the various pieces of infrastructure for the park.

An official community event was held to celebrate the opening of Minkarra Small Dog Park. Terrain Group enjoyed a great morning visiting the site located at Manning Rd, Happy Valley for the opening, one of the first small dog parks in South Australia.
Little furry friends came from far and wide to have a play, while Terrain Group provided a free sausage sizzle to the local community.
The City of Onkaparinga provided free coffee, followed by speeches and the cutting of the ribbon to officially open the gates.
