Project Overview
Located in the heart of Port Adelaide’s industrial and commercial precinct, this project involved installing two new public restrooms in Gillman, SA. Designed and delivered by Terrain Group, the facilities support both heavy vehicle rest areas and nearby businesses — providing clean, accessible, and durable amenities built to handle high public use.
Site 1 – Truck Depot Rest Stop
Located near a busy truck depot, the AMT101 two-door unit (WCC + 1 cubicle) provides essential facilities for drivers taking rest breaks.
Key features include:
Stainless steel pan, cistern, and wash basins for maximum durability
Accessible WCC cubicle with handrails
External wash basin
Standard door hardware with key lockable access
Anodised aluminium finish for strength and corrosion resistance
Compact yet robust, this design ensures easy maintenance and reliable performance in a high-traffic setting
Site 2 – Business Precinct & Funk Café
Installed near Funk Café and surrounding businesses, the AMT102S three-door unit (WCC + 2 cubicles) includes a rear service area for efficient maintenance access.
Key Features include:
Concealed stainless steel cisterns and wash basins
WCC cubicle with handrails plus two standard cubicles
External wash basin with stainless steel soap dispensers
Pre-wired lighting and key lockable hardware
Durable anodised aluminium finish
This larger unit enhances convenience and accessibility for local workers, visitors, and café patrons.
