The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters has over 180 hectares of open space—no less than 72 parks and reserves and 26 playgrounds for the local community to enjoy. Scott Street Reserve in Glynde offers modern play equipment and plenty of lawned open space, and the maintenance of healthy green open spaces is where Terrain Water are the experts.
We recently completed an irrigation upgrade to the Scott Street Reserve. As the successful tenderer, we were on site for just two weeks, the project managed and delivered by Josh Gould and Jarryd Kelly, Terrain Group’s leading irrigation installers.
Products used for this project were Hunter ACC controller, coupled with Hunter ICV solenoid valves and I20 series sprinklers.
One of the obstacles of the project was working around extensive tree roots with a hydrovac system as open trenching wasn’t permitted within the root zones.
This upgrade now guarantees the council efficient green space watering with significant water savings.
