If your kids love slides then this is going to be their new favourite playground! We’re talking big slides, small slides, straight slides and one great big epic curly slide!
The MJ McInerney Reserve project brings a new look and feel to playgrounds and open spaces.
City of Charles Sturt are doing some exciting work to reinvent their local parks and reserves to ensure visitors are well provided for now, and into the future.
Terrain Group was the preferred supplier for the toilet building, bin enclosures and furniture.
“We’re calling it the best new Party Park in Adelaide’s North West, and it may just make the new top 10 in Adelaide, because it’s got lots of space equipment for the whole family.”
The toilet building was customised to reflect local area history and artwork on the external cladding. By developing a structure that best accommodated the needs of the reserves, we provided simple customisations to meet the Council’s requirements.
Awarded to Landscape Construction Services, the project was a public tender and Terrain Group was pleased to be able to work alongside LCS to deliver the project.
Working in conjunction with LCS, we were able to ensure delivery of the toilet building, base preparation and finished level on schedule as works unfolded on site.
The project features the following Terrain Group products
- Yarra Toilet Building
- Bayside Bin Enclosure
- Sturt Picnic Setting
- Monarch Timber Seat
“This was a fantastic project to be part of, and a great Council to work with, with a huge insight and investment in local parks and reserves. When seeing this park before the upgrade I was overwhelmed at what the Council were wanting to achieve. By suggesting a few key park essentials, we worked with the council to not only offer them a furniture suite that works, but also a cost effective toilet building featuring some simple modifications to reflect their style for the area. A park City of Charles Sturt should be truly proud of.”
