The Conyngham Street Dog Park is the only dog park within the City of Burnside to cater to dogs of all sizes and their humans. Following several requests made over the years by community members seeking improvements to the site, the park was renovated and reopened in May this year.
This initial consultation received 445 valid responses, of which 70 percent of the respondents requested that the dog park be split into two sections: small dogs and all dogs. Other suggested improvements were additional drinking fountains, seating, shelters, bins, and landscaping.
Terrain Group supplied and delivered the popular Capricorn shelter 4m wide x 5m long, aluminum construction in timbermatch finish in Australian Cedar with Windspray colourbond roof. LCS Landscapes erected and secured the shelter with flange/bolt-down style posts.
