Coastal park receives long awaited makeover

Location Semaphore Park. South Australia
Sector Custom, Elements

October saw the launch of the incredible new public space at Point Malcolm, the coastal parkland at Semaphore Park adjacent to the Semaphore Surf Life Saving Club.

City of Charles Sturt employed their own architects to create the space which boasts state of the art play areas dedicated to both younger and older children, as well as open areas for field sports, basketball and tennis courts and even a range of fitness equipment.

Terrain Group was contracted to supply the benches and table settings within the park, for which a custom design was created using a combination of timber and our state of the art anodised aluminium. This allowed the architects to tie in the natural aesthetics of the park to the features installed for the community.

Customisation of our existing existing designs is something that sets Terrain Group apart from our competitors, because it allows our clients to create a look that is as individual as the open space they’re working with, seamlessly tieing in the utility of the design, with the natural aspects of the space. Not only can we pair up an extensive range of products to create settings for every situation, we can customise the elements within the setting to make them truly unique to the space.
