Project Overview
Terrain Group partnered with Lamiga Design Studio to help deliver a functional and welcoming outdoor space for St Brigid’s College in Horsham, Victoria.
Designed to support outdoor learning, recreation, school events, and everyday student use, the project centred around the supply of two large-scale Capricorn Series shelters.
Working closely through the design and planning stages, Terrain Group assisted in developing a custom shelter solution that aligned with the footprint and functionality requirements of the upgraded external forecourt space.
Following multiple renders and design options, Terrain Group delivered two impressive 15m x 6m Capricorn Series shelters, creating approximately 90 square metres of undercover coverage for students and staff to enjoy year-round.
Design Collaboration & Project Delivery
Terrain Group worked closely with landscape architect Felicity Lamiga Design Studio during the early stages of the project to develop a practical and visually appealing shelter solution.
The project required a large shade structure capable of supporting a mixed-use outdoor environment for learning, gatherings, break times, and recreational activities.
Terrain Group’s Projects Manager, Jayne Selby, collaborated closely with the client to propose the most suitable design, size, and functionality for the upgraded forecourt area.
As the project progressed through the design phase, detailed renders of the proposed shelter structures were supplied to support visual planning and project coordination.
The landscape contractor responsible for the broader site works procured the shelters from Terrain Group and coordinated installation on site.
